This place was a lovely getaway for myself and my husband. It’s secluded and feels like you’re the only person in the whole world with just a few short turns. The indoor space is lovely and inviting, with everything you need to make a nice cup of tea, or a nice French pressed cup of coffee. They were kind enough to leave some pretty good spices, etc. so if you wanted to cook a nice meal. The fire pit is lovely and the Jacuzzi was a nice touch for a relaxing weekend. The house is full of windows so wherever you are, you get to be reminded of the quiet desert around you.

My husband and I visit the high desert 1-2 times a year — typically to getaway from the bustling city life, to enjoy JTNP, visit our favorite restos & small biz spots, and to just unplug and relax. With that said, this rental is by far one of the top favorite places we’ve stayed at for accommodations during our annual trip to the area. The home is very clean, well furnished, and thoughtfully curated in decor - it was such a lovely stay. It was perfect for two people in size. Additionally, Jessica was quick to respond — which is always reassuring and appreciated. We loved the detailed instructions and additional context to the rules for the home. We also enjoyed how we were able to park our vehicle on property, super close to the house so it made loading/unloading a breeze. Finally, we loved staying in this part of town — as were close to some of our fave spots such as Luna Bakery, The Copper Room, & La Copine. We definitely hope to stay here again the next time we visit!

The place was perfect for my Girls trip! It fit 6 people exactly. Joe gave very clear instructions on how to get to the house. It was clean and very cozy! I would definitely book again.

We had an amazing stay! The location was exactly what we were looking for peaceful, private, and away from everything. The property feels safe, fenced, and not on a main road, which was perfect for us. We stayed with our dog and he absolutely loved the open space to run around and explore. The house itself felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details. We cooked dinner in the kitchen, which was very comfortable and well-equipped. Even though we stayed only one night, we can confidently say that if you’re in the area, this is the perfect place to stay. Highly recommended!

Mikel’s place is the perfect quiet (near silent) desert getaway. Just what we were looking for with all the amenities you need. Mikel was also incredibly responsive in a timely manner any time we had questions. 10/10

Just one magical night at Casa Fortuna. My friends and I visited The Integreton and then spent the night talking and laughing underneath the stars. Arrival was a breeze. The home is lovingly decorated and has a strong, comforting, and peaceful energy. Thank you for opening your home to us. I would stay here again. 🩷🌵🙏🏽💫

Exquisite property. Hosts were on top of it getting back to us about a question about the gate at check in. We felt right at home immediately and there are just so many careful and pretty details in this home. Also, tons of comfortable seating areas throughout.Centrally located if you're unfamiliar with the area. Hot tub was just right, great beds, great grill, plenty of blankets and towels, as well. We will surely miss being there and are very grateful for their hospitality.

Cannot recommend Emily's Ranch enough. The house is secluded on a huge lot which is exactly what we were after. Incredibly beautiful and serene desert surroundings. The home is very warm and comfortable with really cool finishes. Felt right at home. We cooked a lot of meals there and the kitchen had everything we needed. The grounds are well maintained. Loved that it was fully fenced! My dogs and 16 month old son got to run freely to their hearts content.The piano is a great touch too, it got put to good use! We trekked to Giant Rock on the OHV road, explored Pioneertown, and hiked all over JTNP. Algobertos for Tacos and $5 Pizza place were on point too! We had such an amazing time at Sky Ranch, we did not want to leave. Hope to be back soon! Thanks to Emily for hosting us and Desert Collective for being so cool and helpful with the stay.
