Make this your peaceful desert getaway to truly capture the spirit of Joshua Tree. Please note that one bathroom is in the home, and the two additional private bathrooms are in a small building outside the home.

Other Details to Note

Pet fee includes 2 pets. There is an additional pet fee of $25 for a third. Max number of pets is 3. We ask that you please pick up after your dog to keep the yard clean for the next guest! This home is the perfect accommodation for guests attending local events like Coachella, Stagecoach, Desert X, and others cool desert happenings! This quiet, spread out neighborhood means you’ll have plenty of peace and space. Across the street is an olive farm and the 29 Palms military base for some freaky light shows at night :)

You’ll have the run of the house and property while you’re there, but if you need anything at all, our house manager and cleaner live minutes away.

The desert's edge home was fantastic. Beautiful home in the middle of the desert. The sunrise and sunset views are breathtaking. The home was clean and had everything we needed. Totally recommend this place for a desert trip.

Can’t wait to come back! Everything was seamless and easy. Everything was clean, quiet and comfortable. The bus was a huge hit with my toddler, fenced yard was great for my dog. Had a great time relaxing and listening to records. Thank you!

We had a lovely time at Deserts Edge. It was the perfect location for exploring the park and surrounding area and for private rest/relaxation. The hot tub and bath were a great bonus and amazing spots to watch the sun rise and set. Would definitely recommend.

Mikels place was for us a beautiful retreat for the weekend. It is cozy and quiet, with amazing sunrise views. We enjoyed stargazing at night from the hot tub, barbequing food on the huge fire pit/propane grill and there was lots to do on the property (seating areas, tubs, etc). The bus was a unique addition and was surprisingly comfy, clean and climate controlled, so it was great to stay the night in. The beds in the house were huge and comfy and there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows as well. Lastly, we brought our dog and really appreciated the secure fenced in property where he could run around free. He loved it as much as we did. Thanks for the great stay and the extremely helpful and detailed instructions on how to get there safely and use the amenities on the property. We had a great time and can highly recommend this place.

Find us

You will definitely need a car to access the home and get into town, which is about 15 minutes away. The home is off a dirt road so be prepared to drive about 5 minutes on bumpy dirt. Any car can handle it, we just want you to be prepared!
