Good to know

This is a three bed room (four beds), 3.5 bath home up against in the rocks in 29 Palms and a quick drive to 49 Palms Oasis Trail which is part of Joshua Tree National Park. There are two king bedrooms with en suite baths and one double queen bedroom with en suite bath. The kitchen is fully stocked with an additional outdoor BBQ for preparing meals. The yard features a hot tub, wood firepit and outdoor dining area. Come escape in this cavernous home with incredible views and a nod to 70's Joshua Tree. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: You will have access to the pellet stoves with pellets provided. The main fireplace is unfortunately a safety hazard and off limits, but you're welcome to bring firewood for the outdoor firepit.

Other Details to Note

No commercial photography or filming without express permission and a proper permit. This includes branded social media content. Personal photos/filming and social media are always ok. If we find you have done so, there will be a $5000/day production fee assessed to each night of your stay. Bottom line: just ask. :) NO PARTIES. The home sleeps eight max. Neighbors will be quick to call the county and YOU will be responsible for any county fines. If the cops get called, you will be asked to vacate without a refund. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times outside. The desert is full of snakes, spiders and coyotes and we want to keep them safe. If you bring your pet, know that there's a minimum $50 charge for pet hair found on the furniture, multiple pet waste in the yard or pet accidents that haven't been cleaned up. We will provide lint brushes, a dog bed, waste bags and sheets to put over furniture. Please use them.

Luxury supreme. We waited and waited for this house to be available....15 YEARS!!!!! I used to walk by it on my way to the 49 palms canyon oasis and say "one day I will live there!" It is out of the hustle and bustle of south Joshua tree, and just past Indian Cove. It literally sits as the Joshua Tree National Parks' neighbor. It's original owner/builder perched it on the hill in the early 1950's. It's a house that would not be possible to build today. We consider it an honor to own our home and feel like it's a vibe and a spot that is important to share. It's meant for dreamers, thinkers, and is a house that epitomizes SPEAK EASY! There is nothing like it. We tried keeping the home in its period rather than retrofit modernity into it. Hence, no WIFI, real landlines and satellite tv. But truly, when you're there you want to have a smoke on the patio, ruminate over your visions and take in the long view! We can't really describe the feeling, it's in the experience!

Sailene and Zaina’s place was a magical paradise. We didn’t know what our Joshua trip was going to be like and this place exceeded our expectations. *Highly recommend!!*

Find us

When you arrive to the manor, you can fit st least two cars in front of the garage. The house sits in the center of a whopping 10 acres. Plenty of grated space for soccer, laps or cars.
