Neighborhood

This is a residential neighborhood close to the park. The house sits on a corner lot, with no home beside it. The neighborhood is on a small hill, which offers beautiful views of Joshua Tree and beyond, especially at night. Just a few blocks away are amazing rock formations. The neighborhood is very safe. Neighbors are friendly, as you will notice when they say hello while walking their dog or taking an evening stroll. The visitor center is about 3 minutes away, as well as the Joshua Tree Saloon, Crossroads Cafe, Natural Sisters Cafe, and other local eateries.

Guest Access

You will have access to the entire home and property. The only area not open is the shed, where I keep additional cleaning supplies. Please note that the living room fire place is not available for use.

The house sits on a half acre corner lot with no house beside it. Bedroom 1: King bed with private bathroom Bedroom 2: Queen bed Bedroom 3: Queen bed ***all bedrooms have double lined, blackout curtains*** The living room has a Smart TV with Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon. There are also plenty of games, books, a guitarlele (guitar and ukele combined), and a yoga mat for your enjoyment. The kitchen is stocked with utensils, pots, pans, salt/pepper, and oil for cooking and grilling. Please help yourself to the coffee and any snacks in the cabinet and fridge. Under all sinks, you will find cleaning supplies for the home. The backyard is equipped with patio seating for dinner and lounging, hammocks, a homemade corn-hole set, an in-ground fire pit (made by yours truly!), and gas grill. (Wood for the fire pit is not provided- please pick some up at the grocery store nearby!) For guests with small children, the backyard is enclosed by a 3 ft. wall with gates. Please share in my love of mixology with your very own cocktail bar in the kitchen! Stocked with the essential tools and instructions (alcohol not provided).

Other Details to Note

There is about 4 feet of gravel in between the road and the driveway. Please drive straight and slowly onto the driveway to avoid additional bumps. You will find my homes priced significantly lower than others. This is because I want to make my home accessible and affordable to all. I stay at the house at least once a month and enjoy painting/cleaning/doing all the general up keep. I place close attention to detail so that your stay is refined, comfortable, and fulfilling.

You will need a car to get around the city, but there is a local bus as well. If you bring a bicycle, then you could bike into the National Park (20 minute bike ride, slightly uphill).
